When we meet with people for the first time they sometimes tell us “I heard CrossFit is dangerous” or “I saw CrossFit on YouTube and it looks dangerous”.
On the outside looking in, it could appear dangerous.
Doing something new can also bring up a certain level of anxiety and nervousness.
And this holds true for many other things in life; not just CrossFit.
At Northern Touch CrossFit we take the risk, anxiety and any element of danger out of the equation.
We want to ensure you are both confident and comfortable in your environment so that you thrive.
Not only do we have highly skilled coaches leading our small group CrossFit classes, we ensure members are ready to jump into a class by completing our CrossFit On Ramp Foundation course.
Our CrossFit On Ramp Foundation course is well structured to teach you the movements commonly found in our group CrossFit classes. These are done in 1:1 sessions with one of our coaches. We teach proper form and technique as well as taking new members through a workout with dedicated personalized attention.
Just like most of us, when we learned to drive, there was someone in the passenger seat helping us navigate the different elements of how to drive a car. Eventually, we graduated to driving on our own.
This is similar to how we approach our CrossFit On Ramp Foundation course. Once completed members are ready to participate in our CrossFit group classes. Some enjoy the accountability and specialized training and choose to continue on with private training or semi private training.
Everyone is different and we treat each person as an individual.
